This is supposedly "the world's smallest coffee shop." We each got a cookie from here on our tour of "the Other Copenhagen" which gave us a taste of the local and hip areas that are lesser known.
After a fire burned down a good portion of CPH, regulations were instated that cut the corners off buildings so that firemen could reach fires quicker and easily when navigating the narrow streets with giant fire ladders.
The famous Nyhavn Harbor which is beautiful and truly looks like this in person.
This house was on the H.C. Andersen tour and was owned by the family that he considered his "foster" family in Copenhagen. The tour guide also mentioned that supposedly houses like this used to have cows on the second floor. The first floor would be a brewery and all the leftover scraps from the grain and things could then be fed to the animals upstairs so they didn't need a field to graze.
Danish solider with bearskin hat, old-school uniform and an M16 guarding the Queen. I'm not quite sure what to think...
And finally....the cobblestone streets that cause my feet pain on a daily basis.
